Chamber Rules
3. Members
3.1 Membership of the Chamber is open to any individual or organisation engaged in business, resident in the Borough of Wandsworth (or neighbouring Boroughs) or wishing to support or otherwise associate with businesses within the Borough.
3.2 Application for membership shall be made in a form approved by the Executive Committee and be accompanied by a payment of the subscription for the current year and an enrolment fee. The applicant may be asked for a business or personal reference to be taken up by the Executive Committee.
3.3 The Executive Committee may refuse to admit any person as a member without giving reasons for doing so.
3.4 A member shall cease to be a member:
- if he or she gives written notice of resignation
- if he or she fails to pay a subscription within three months of being due
- having committed some act or being guilty of behaviour inconsistent with membership of the Chamber and the Executive Committee resolves by a majority of three quarters to remove him or her from membership
